The Discipleship Training Center
The Discipleship Training Center is for the training and equipping of missionaries and servants of God who want to be able to minister the Word of God properly and effectively. While in the Haitian prison Jim was awakened by the Lord and told to go to the Dominican Republic and build a Discipleship Training Center. (See The Prison Story) He and Teresa obeyed the call and so they are currently in this process of fulfilling this call. God has provided 13 acres in the hillsides outside the city of Santiago. The DTC can accommodate a maximum of 32 individuals.
Sharing The Vision has been working on the DTC project for four years with many setbacks, the pandemic being the greatest setback. God has been faithful in spite of construction prices soaring on a regular basis after the pandemic. Prices are still rising but not as before.
We are getting very close to completion. We have just finished hanging the drywall and will begin finishing the drywall next week, 9/16/24. We have complied a list of items needed and their costs so that we can complete the Discipleship Training Center. Our goal is to open the Center in the year 2025 and we would like to do the finishes with work teams from the U.S and Canada.

Since first sending out our "Help Finish The Discipleship Training Center" we have received sponsorship for all of Bedroom and Bathroom #1, Bedroom #2 Air Conditioner, Bedroom #2 Floor Tile, Bedroom #2 one Bunkbed, Bedroom #2 two Mattresses, Bedroom #2 one Overhead Light, and all of the Hallway Lights.​​​​​​​​

IN ADDITION: We also need to raise $6000 for the new 240/120 pure sign wave inverter with 8 high capacity batteries. We installed this system for the warehouse and Team House and when the electricity went out due to a problem with the electric company the system provided electricity for more than 24 hours while running everything.
